Unheard Voices: A Song in Siswati
Swaziland, Africa, 2010

•American Artist Abroad program through the United States Embassy, 2010
•Facilitated photography and audio workshops with people in an HIV positive support group in the  rural  village of Timbutini. Prior to workshops, participants had never used cameras before, nor had their photographs taken. The below photographs and audio (playing) were created by the participants during the workshops as they told their stories and explored their feelings surrounding the injustice they experienced being HIV positive, as well as the community they found within each other. Photographs and audio resulted in an installation which was installed at the United States Embassy in Mbabane, Swaziland.
